Hopebuilders- Uganda

Being part of a team allows you to play an active part of "breaking the cycle of poverty". Our teams are usually made up of around 15 people including a leader. The team will generally be away for around 3 weeks, however this is somewhat negotiable. Teams can take on different aspects, which range from building to ministry to medical to developing enterprise.

In Uganda our teams have been very active in the building process of the Village of Hope, as well as enjoying some R & R African style and they have also visited other children's homes and participated in other local mission work in Uganda. You can track the progress of the Uganda teams by visiting the blog at Village of Hope Blog

In India our teams participate in ministry to the children in the orphanage and also in teh local slums. They teach them crafts, interact with them through music and games. Generally the team augments the great work already being done by our local people and they serve as an encouragement to the locals. There is also opportunity to visit amazing sites such as the Taj Mahal.

There are always teams being planned and if you are interested you should contact us at: info@hopebuilders.org.au. You may want to consider organising your youth group or group of friend to go on a team.
